Behind the foggy doors of an old movie theatre in the little town of Gravenhurst, a treasure trove awaits. Touring performers, aspiring rock stars, music lovers and antique collectors alike come here to spend hours lost in the maze of precious objects, vintage instruments, classic records and eclectic artwork gathered by a family of historians and musicians.
On any given day you will walk in to find Andrew, the eldest of the two Currie brothers, repairing an antique guitar or telling stories for each of the hundreds of posters that adorn the walls in the front of the shop - hanging souvenirs of concerts past.  Just around the corner you might find his brother, Rob sitting beside the console in the cozy recording studio, carefully mixing his latest project or sourcing vintage equipment or rare vinyl.
Wander down the storybook hallway of floor-to-ceiling framed artwork and peek in to the many rooms of antiques - decorative and functional - and perhaps meet Ted or Suzanne Currie who can tell more about the history of Muskoka than the best tour guides or museum directors around.

Rated number one for Gravenhurst shopping spots on Trip Advisor, Currie's Music & Antiques is the perfect place for punk rockers, tea-set collectors, interior designers and anyone in between to spend an afternoon.  Currie's Music and Antiques is also the headquarters of the Currie Brothers' Church Shows series.
